Hosting Options
Another major consideraton for your website is where to host it. The webhost is the place where your pages physically reside.
Hosting a Domain Name
If you have a domain name then hosting can be arranged by us for $A80 per year. This host includes the options to have a cgi-bin for your own scripts (eg gusetbook, feedback form, etc...), shopping cart and database.
You may also have your domain name hosted with a free host. There are many free hosts available however, the majority of them wil require you to place advertising on each page of your site.
Hosting a sub-domain
If you would like a subdomain of BigPurplePig then hosting will be cheaper at $40 per year. Your web address would then be www.yourname.bigpurplepig.com.
Free hosting
You may wish to host your pages with your Internet Service Provider. Most ISP's allocate space for their users. Generally your web address would then be www.yourISP.com.au~/username/
